Day um I am not sure just check the date...

All this stuff it copied from my blog post on the south america blog. They said I will have to be professional but I thought I might send some if it to you.

First of all I will have to tell you what this dish was relaly like. You can't see it now but under that really really really really...need I say more...hot peper on the top of this sea food dish there are som really really strange peices of uncooked meat. Wow........

To say the least I will be able to say that I tried this once...

If you ever do have the chance I would not recomend the scallopps OH MAN! I am just going to leave it at that. It was like pudding except slimy and not....

"Wow what a amazing trip so far. We have had a ton of really amazing experiences so fat. The first three week of our program we spent studying our brains out up on campus but that has been totally wiped out by the amazing things we have seen so far her in Santiago. I can honestly say this has got to be one of the coolest things I have ever done.

We have been on several visits so far this week and it's been going really well. There are tons of things the Chileans are doing that have kindof insulted them from this global recession. I think we need to learn a little bit from them and change some things back home. We are learning all kinds of cool things.

The food has been really cool as well. Yesterday I got to try squid, octupus, and scallops. It was....good :)"

I will hav to tell you more about the trip as we go along....

TCHAO!

Our first day...in Santiago

Well today was awesome! We got to our hotel this morning about 7:30 and it was off to eat. Man the food was great. It felt like I was back in Brazil. I love this.

We ate and planne on taking a nap then running around the city didn't quite make it...
My body said no. Man it was a good day.

I am uploading a youtube video right now that has most of the tsory....

I hope you all enjoy it. let me know weather you want to here about my adventures written or video. I will be doing both. But I would love to get feeback.

We made it....

Just a quick note I will have to tell you all some stories tonight. That was a long fight. 8 hours to Lima Peru and another 3 to Santiago Chile....

We are here now. Actually in the airport waiting for the rest of everyone to make it through.

I am actually having flashbacks though, getting on the plane in the very beginning I was looking around expecting to see other missionaries on their way to Los Angles and then on to Chile. I didn't see anyone of course.

I remember when I got on the plane and a woman got and say the 5 or 6 missionaires who were all onboard and she said well at least we know we aren't going down... :)

I laughed. No missionaries this time but still a safe trip.

When we went through customs it was worse, as far as flash backs go, but it was a thousand times faster than when we made it to Brazil. I remember getting of the plain and thinking that we were going to be lost for sure. None of us spoke the language and all we had were the instructions from the church. We all had way too much luggage and no way to carry it all. They all looked like little trains as we pulled them down.

The part that reminded me the most of Brazil was when we walked out and we looked like lost puppy dogs. A man from the MTC who we could not have recognized said. Hey Elders and we went with him. To this day I am not sure if we would have ever questioned whether he was who we needed to talk. Man what a wake up call.

Well I will have to let you all know how my fist day goes.

Hey all hope you enjoy this blog!

I just wanted to write some stuff down from my study abroad and I thought this might be a good way to do it. Hopefully it won't have any purple handbags or boring stuff and hopefully this isn't my last entry!
